Best practice spotlight organization
Peel Long Term Care was one of 4 long-term care providers in Ontario selected to be the first to implement the guidelines as a designated best practice spotlight organization.
With support from the nurses’ association, expert mentorship and consultation on the Best Practice Guidelines and the intense work of nurses and interdisciplinary team members from various roles and departments, Peel Long Term Care has successfully implemented several Best Practice Guidelines across all 5 Long Term Care centres. Peel Long Term Care will continue to implement and spread Best Practice Guidelines in 2022, to ensure quality and safe resident-centred care for our residents.
