Project update

Peel Region has been designing a new Sewage Pumping Station in Jack Darling Park to service the new Lakeshore Trunk Sewer. This work is required to keep providing you with high-quality wastewater services.

Before construction begins some preliminary field investigation work needs to take place. This will result in temporary closure around the work area and the closure of 4 parking spaces while the investigation is being conducted. Attached is an overhead view of the area of the dog park that will be closed and the 4 parking lots that will be affected.

Construction schedule

Construction is planned to start April 26, 2026, and finish by May 4, 2026. These dates may change due to weather and other unexpected events.
