Project 24-2905
Area affected: 109 Castelli Court, Bolton
Advance notice
Peel Region will be improving Bolton North Hill Sewage Pumping Station located at 109 Castelli Court within the next 6 months. Wastewater usually flows downhill through sewer pipes. A sewage pumping station is used in low spots to pump it uphill so it can reach the wastewater treatment plant. This work is required to keep providing you with high-quality wastewater services.
Background
Over the next year, the Region of Peel will upgrade this pumping station to repair the protective coating on the wet well that stores wastewater prior to pumping. This upgrade will ensure no wastewater leaks from the wet well, reduce the risk of sewer backups or spills, and keep the wastewater system reliable for the future.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Learn more about how to stay safe in construction zones.
