Project 24-2274 – February 18, 2026 update
Street affected: The Gore Road
Project update
Peel Region is installing new sanitary sewer along The Gore Road. Under the City of Brampton Noise By-law, tunneling work is allowed to take place continuously, 24 hours a day, Monday to Saturday, to reduce the impact of our work.
Schedule
This work is expected to start Monday March 2, 2026 and finish by Thursday April 30, 2026. During this time, we do not anticipate there to be significant noise. Materials will be delivered and removed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to minimize impacts..
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Learn more about how to stay safe in construction zones.
