Project 24-1310 H2 – December 19, 2025 update
Streets affected: Danton Promenade and Brasilia Court
Project update
Peel Region has been replacing the watermain along Danton Promenade. This work is required to keep providing you with high-quality water.
At this time, we have:
- Replaced the watermain on Danton Promenade and Brasilia Circle.
- Connected properties to the new watermain on Danton Promenade and Brasilia Circle.
- Temporarily repaired driveways, road, curbs, sidewalk and sod (grass) affected by construction.
The remaining work has been put on hold due to the weather. We’ll shut down for the winter on December 19 and clean up the following week. We will leave the construction site in a safe condition for the rest of the winter.
Schedule for remaining repair work
We expect to start again in April 2026 to complete the following:
- Complete repairing driveways, road, curbs, sidewalk and sod (grass) affected by our construction. This includes replacing the temporary asphalt on driveways, curbs, sidewalks, and roads to complete final restoration.
We plan to finish in early 2026. More details about restoration will be shared in a follow-up notice.
What to expect during construction
Refer to our short video to learn what to expect before, during, and after watermain construction. The video also answers common questions about:
- How traffic, parking, and waste collection may be affected.
- How driveways, roads, and sod (grass) are repaired
Settlement of the ground
It is normal for repaired areas to settle. Let us know if you notice large potholes forming where the driveway, street, or lawn was repaired and we’ll ensure these are fixed.
