Project 24-1197 – May 21, 2026 update
Street affected: Innis Lake Road
Advance notice
As part of the Flow | South Caledon Program, Peel Region will be installing a new watermain in your area, within the next year, as shown on the attached map.
Watermains are underground pipes that bring tap water from our water treatment facility to your neighbourhood. As pipes age, we need to replace them to provide you with high-quality water.
Important note
Construction will take place in the municipal right-of-way. This includes the street and the municipal-owned land between the street and the water service box, a small, round, metal valve located outside on the property line between your home or business and the road.
Before construction begins:
- We’ll use spray paint or flags on roads, driveways, and lawns to locate underground gas, hydro, and cable.
- We may drill holes in the road or municipal right-of-way to collect soil samples, determine ground conditions, or confirm utility locations.
- We’ll take pictures and videos to help restore the area as close as possible to its former condition, after construction.
We expect these activities to happen in Winter 2026.
Keeping you informed
We’re currently in the planning stages, so we cannot give exact dates. As your town’s future planning activities may change, we may also update our plans. We’ll deliver more detailed information closer to the start of construction.
