Construction work in your area
Peel Region will be replacing a culvert at Ingleview Drive and Olde Base Line Road. Culverts are underground structures that carry rainwater and melted snow from roadside ditches to local creeks, rivers, and Lake Ontario.
Construction schedule
Construction is expected to start October 13, 2026, and finish by November 2026. These dates may change due to weather and other unexpected events.
Contractor working hours
The work will be completed by Capital Sewer Services Inc. under contract to Peel Region. Working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. These hours are consistent with local municipal bylaws and help shorten the amount of time construction is in your neighborhood/area.
Traffic and parking
Ingleview Drive will be closed to all through traffic at the westerly intersection of Olde Base Line Road. This closure will take place from October 13 until October 16. A detour route will be clearly marked with signs. Please refer to the attached map for the detour route.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Visit work zone safety for more information.
