Project 23-1310E – September 18, 2024 update
Streets affected: Bluestream Crescent and Molly Avenue
Notice of road paving and driveway repairs
Peel Region will be repairing the road and driveways where it was disturbed by our recent watermain construction. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your cooperation while we finish this work. View attached map.
Schedule
We expect road paving activities to take place on Bluestream Crescent and Molly Avenue between September 25 and September 27,2024.
- Bluestream Crescent: September 25 and September 26
- Molly Avenue: September 26 and September 27
Regular working hours will be Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. can Road paving activities may be delayed due to weather conditions, as paving cannot take place when the ground is saturated with water, or the temperature is below 3°C.
Parking and driveway access
Please do not park on the street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. when paving is scheduled for your street. Please ensure the road is cleared of vehicles (and any type of materials) at these times.
While your street is being paved, you may not have access to your driveway for a short time. As the paving work approaches your home, it is recommended to park on another street.
To provide an alternate parking location, we have arranged for a street parking enforcement exemption from the City of Mississauga for parking on Autumn Harvest Drive, Daralea Heights and Hassall Road. This exemption is valid until Sept 27,2024. Please note that all other parking laws remain in place, including proper clearance from hydrants and stop signs. We apologize for any inconveniences resulting from this paving work.
Driveway repairs
- Interlock or concrete driveways: If we damaged a portion of your driveway, our contractor will reinstate the damaged portion of the driveway.
- Asphalt driveways: If we have cut your driveway, the driveway will be repaired by paving a stripe over the disturbed area, resulting in minimal seams in the final driveway. Peel Region cannot replace your entire driveway.

If you would like to have the rest of your driveway paved, please contact the contractor, Timbel Limited, at 416-747-1788. The contractor will then share contact information for the company hired to do the paving repairs. Please remember this is your option. If you decide to have your entire driveway repaved, this extra paving work is your responsibility and outside the jurisdiction of Peel Region.
Traffic impacts
We will need to reduce traffic to a single lane during paving activities. Work will be phased to minimize traffic disruption in the area. If we must reroute traffic, we will place signs giving directions.
Safety during construction
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe – pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, and construction workers. When driving, walking, or biking through the construction area, please be aware of your surroundings, watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, account for delays, and consider other routes if possible. Learn more about how to stay safe in construction zones.
