We have finished the work. The project is under warranty until December 31, 2026.

Where is the work happening

• On Erin Mills Parkway south of Highway 403, approximately 250 metres north of Burnhamthorpe Road.

What are we doing

The work includes:

• A Low Impact Development (LID) retrofit for a Stormwater Management Facility in Peel Region, aimed at reducing runoff and improving stormwater quality.
• The removal and replacement of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and other related infrastructure.
• Restoration work and minor associated tasks.

When

• Start: Week of October 21, 2024.
• Finish: December 15, 2024 (weather permitting).

Working hours

• The contractor’s normal working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
• These hours are consistent with the local municipality’s bylaws. We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but a shorter working day would mean the project would take longer to complete.

Traffic control

• Existing traffic flows will be maintained during construction. However, traffic lanes will be temporarily reduced during construction.
• Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
• Barriers and signs will be placed for safety and direction, as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Use caution when travelling through the work zone.

Driveway access

• We anticipate that driveway accesses will be maintained.
• If we need to block your driveway for a short time, you will be contacted to arrange for the best time and for alternate access, if available.
• If you have specific access-related requirements, kindly contact the Project Manager.

Project updates

• Peel Region will keep you informed of any substantial changes in the project scope or schedule.
• We are committed to ensuring minimum disruption to your homes and businesses.
• Please contact the Project Manager or Inspector if you have any special needs.
