Construction in your area
Peel Region has completed the take-down and removal of the Snelgrove Elevated Tank located at 2819 Mayfield Road at the corner of Mayfield Road and Cresthaven Road.
Restoration schedule
The restoration work is complete, and temporary fencing has been placed to protect the sod (grass) that has been replaced. We plan to remove the fencing by early June 2026, weather permitting.
Temporary dog park and park closure
The dog park, which has been closed since May 20, will remain closed until June 2026, when the fencing is removed. The children’s park has been reopened. Alternative City of Brampton dog parks include:
- Bramalea LTD Community Park
- Camden Park East
- Chris Gibson Park
- Duggan Park
- Fletchers Green Community Park
- White Spruce Park

Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe.
