Project 18-2300 C - December 20, 2022 update

Streets affected: Fair Birch Drive and Birchview Drive, Mississauga

The Region of Peel has been working in your neighborhood to replace the aging sanitary sewer just north of Fair Birch Drive, along the Lornewood creek water course. This work is required to maintain and improve existing wastewater services.

At this time, we have:

• Installed a new sanitary sewer along Birchview Drive from Fair Birch Drive to Lornewood Creek,
• Set up tunnel access points on Fair Birch Drive to facilitate tunneling the new sewer along Fair Birch Drive.

Project update

We will be shutting down for the winter break on December 23, 2022 and will restart work on January 3, 2023. We will leave the construction site in a safe condition during this period and provide ongoing maintenance as necessary.
