Streets affected: Queen Street Culvert rehabilitation

The Region of Peel is rehabilitating the culvert over Spring Creek on Queen Street, located between Central Park Drive and Bramalea Road in the City of Brampton.

Traffic Impacts, Weekend and Overnight Works

The current phase of the project requires closure of 2 through eastbound lanes. To alleviate impact on traffic and to accelerate the project’s schedule, works in this stage will be continues 24-hour operation over weekend.

The work is planned to start in the evening of Thursday, October 17, 2024, and be completed in the morning of Monday, October 20, 2024, weather permitting.

This will be the last stage of the culvert rehabilitation works and will be followed by top asphalt paving, and pavement markings of the entire work area. After that, the project will be completed, and all traffic restrictions will be removed.

We understand that this work will cause inconvenience and every effort will be made to minimize impacts on residents and motorists.
