Peel Region has been working along Albion Vaughan Road, Harvestview Avenue, Nunnville Road, Old King Road, Queensgate Boulevard and Sant Farm Drive installing new and replacing existing sanitary sewers. Construction was temporarily postponed but works are expected to start again June 30, 2025.
Schedule for remaining construction work
Remaining works include:
- Sanitary sewer connections on Albion Vaughan Road, Nunnville Road, Queensgate Boulevard and Sant Farm Drive
- Miscellaneous upgrades to Bolton Sewage Pumping Station
- Retiring and demolition of Harvestview Sewage Pumping Station
- Curb and road restoration on Old King Road, Nunnville Road, Queensgate Boulevard and Sant Farm Drive
- All remaining boulevard restoration, topsoil, sod, seeding as necessary, as well as tree planting along Albion Vaughan Road where the tunnel compounds were.
We plan to finish by end of 2025. These dates may change due to weather and other unexpected events. All work is warrantied for two years from the completion date.
Contractor working hours
Working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. These hours are consistent with local municipal bylaws and help shorten the amount of time construction is in your neighborhood/area.
Traffic and parking
We may need to temporarily close roads or reduce traffic to a single lane. If this is needed, we will place signs giving directions. On-street parking will be reduced when we are working on your street.
Vibrations, noise, and dust
You could feel slight vibrations and experience some minor noise and dust from construction work.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Visit peelregion.ca/workzonesafety for more information.
