Project 17-2280 – July 23, 2026 update
Streets affected: Queensgate Boulevard and Landsbridge Street
Project update
Peel Region recently installed various sanitary sewers along Albion Vaughan Road, Harvestview Avenue, Old King Road, Nunnville Road, Queensgate Boulevard and Sant Farm Drive.
As one of the final steps of the project, sanitary sewer flows will be redirected through the existing maintenance hole at the intersection of Queensgate Boulevard and Landsbridge Street.
Schedule
This work is expected to take place on August 4 and 5 from 7a.m to 7p.m. An additional day may be required due to weather and other unexpected events.
Traffic impacts
This work will require a lane closure at the intersection of Queensgate Boulevard and Landsbridge Street. We will place signs giving directions.
Noise
We do not expect significant noise or vibrations above normal daytime construction levels during this time. Efforts will be made to reduce impacts to local residents.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Learn more about how to stay safe in construction zones.
