Project 16-2300 A: Phase 3B
Streets affected: Joymar Drive, Pioneer Drive, Donata Drive, Joycelyn Drive, Theodore Drive
Project update
Peel Region recently installed new sanitary sewers in your neighbourhood. This work was completed in October 2023. We’ll be returning to do additional repair work on sanitary sewer laterals connected to your property. The work will be completed by D’Orazio Infrastructure Group and Liqui-Force Services under contract to Peel Region.
Construction schedule
Construction is planned to start in early May 2026, and finish by the end of May 2026. These dates may change due to weather and other unexpected events.
Traffic and parking
We may need to temporarily close roads or reduce traffic to a single lane. If this is needed, we will place signs giving directions. On-street parking will be reduced when we are working on your street.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Learn more about how to stay safe in construction zones.
Driveway access and parking
We may block your driveway for a short time. Contact us if you have any access needs.
Please avoid parking on your driveway when it is being repaired. We’ll knock on your door before work begins. If you will not be home on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., do not leave any vehicles on the driveway.
Repairing grassy areas
The contractor will replace any damaged sod on the boulevard or your front lawn and will take care of it for 30 days. You can help the sod stay healthy by watering it. A longer watering works better than watering more frequently for a shorter time. Early morning watering allows more water to soak in.

Repairing driveways
- Asphalt driveways: If we need to cut a section of your driveway, it will be repaired by paving a strip over the impacted area, resulting in minimal seams.
- Interlock or concrete driveways: If we damage a portion of your driveway, our contractor will repair the damaged portion.
Repairing roads
We’ll pave the road where it was affected by construction.
We understand construction can be disruptive, and we appreciate your patience as we work to improve our community’s infrastructure. This work both maintains and improves Peel’s world-class water systems, allowing us to provide reliable wastewater services to support a thriving community for life.
