Project 15-1138 - February 23, 2024 update
Streets affected: Heritage Road at Edgeware Road.
Peel Region has been working in your neighbourhood to install watermains along Heritage Road. This work is required to maintain and improve existing water services. At this stage of the project, a temporary turning lane closure will be required to complete this work, view attached map.
Traffic impacts
- The intersection of Heritage Road and Edgeware Road will experience a partial closure, specifically prohibiting right turn movements from Edgeware Road. This temporary alteration will commence from late-February 2024 until as late as mid-May, 2024.
- A clearly marked detour route will guide traffic via road signs, ensuring pedestrian access to businesses remains unaffected. Traffic management at the intersection will be overseen by paid duty police officer services, ensuring emergency vehicle accessibility at all times.
- Anticipate potential delays and consider alternative routes during the closure period.
