Project 14-4297 November 19, 2024 update

Streets affected: Intersection of Steeles Avenue W and Lancashire Lane

Peel Region will be paving at the intersection of Steeles Ave W and Lancashire Lane to improve existing road pavement.

This work is scheduled to take place during the nights between November 21 and November 29, 2024, weather permitting.

Traffic impacts and overnight works

To complete the works, partial intersection closures and lane restrictions are required overnight between 7:00PM and 7:00AM for 3 nights

• Partial closures on the Eastbound traffic. During this time, 1 lane will be kept open for the Eastbound traffic.
• Partial closures on the Westbound traffic. During this time, 1 lane will be kept open for the Westbound traffic.
• After the asphalt milling works, 1 lane on each direction will be closed until fully paved.

We understand that this work will cause inconvenience and every effort will be made to minimize the impacts to the extent possible. However, due to the limitations of the works location, it may be expected that the impact to traffic and delays will be substantial. Please try your best to avoid the intersection, if possible, during the specified times.
