Streets affected: Winston Churchill Boulevard, from Olde Base Line Road to Bush Street, and Olde Base Line Road, from Winston Churchill Boulevard to Mississauga Road. 

Construction details

Hydro One will be completing relocation of their infrastructure to accommodate the future reconstruction project on Winston Churchill Boulevard and Olde Base Line Road.

Construction schedule

Starting in September 2026 and anticipating completing in April 2027 (weather permitting).

Working hours

The contractor’s normal working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. The contractor will utilize this time to complete the works.

Traffic control

The works will be phased to minimize traffic disruption while maintaining a safe working environment as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Existing traffic flows will be maintained with some restrictions during construction. However, due to the nature of the work, we will need to reduce traffic lanes to one lane in both directions guided by temporary traffic signals and flaggers.

Emergency access will be always maintained.

Please use caution when travelling through the work zone.
