Street affected: McVean Drive
Construction postponed
Peel Region was planning to replace watermain along McVean Drive. Due to unexpected events, construction has been postponed.
Construction timelines
We are working to determine when this work will start. Construction is anticipated to commence in late 2027.
Peel Region is committed to coordinating our work with the City of City of Brampton’s road work anticipated to start in 2030 (pending budget and council approval).
Important note
Construction will take place in the municipal right-of-way. This includes the street and the municipal-owned land between the street and the water service box, a small, round, metal valve located outside on the property line between your home or business and the road. This work may impact the bottom of your driveway and the area around the sidewalk. We recommend that you delay major landscaping or driveway paving until construction is completed.
