Project 14-1346 E - April 18, 2024 update B

Street affected: Winston Churchill Boulevard and Laird Road.

The Region of Peel is continuing work in your area to replace watermains along Winston Churchill Boulevard.

Some additional upcoming work will again take place overnight, in order to minimize the impact on traffic congestion. This overnight work will occur in the areas around the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Laird Road. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences caused by this work.

Schedule

The overnight work is expected to take place at the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Laird Road on Monday, April 29th from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, from 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. The exact dates may vary slightly due to unpredictable delays, such as poor weather conditions.

Traffic impacts

This work will require temporary partial lane closures in the intersections of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Laird Road.  Signage will be available for detour route directions.

Noise

We do not anticipate significant noise or vibrations above normal daytime construction levels during these operations. Efforts will be made to reduce impacts to local residents as much as possible.

Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe – pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, and construction workers. When driving, walking, or biking through the construction area, please be aware of your surroundings, watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, account for delays, and consider other routes if possible.
