Streets affected: Dixie Road north and south of Williams Parkway

Notice of traffic impacts

Peel Region is going to be working in your neighbourhood to replace the watermain along Dixie Road. This work is required to maintain and improve existing water services.

At this stage in the project, temporary lane reductions will be required to complete this work.

Traffic impacts

• Northbound Dixie Road from south of Williams Parkway to north of Northampton Street will be reduced to a single lane for temporary road widening.
• Southbound Dixie Road north and south of Williams Parkway will be reduced to a single lane for median removal.
• These lane reductions are expected to occur from Monday, October 28, 2024, until Friday, November 15, 2024.

Please expect delays and choose alternate routes if possible.

We apologize for any delays or inconvenience resulting from these traffic impacts.

Transit impacts

• The northbound bus stop 1511 will be shifted south, closer to Lascelles Boulevard throughout the duration of this work.
• The northbound bus stop 1513 will be closed throughout the duration of this work.
