Street affected: South Sheridan Way

Peel Region has been working in your neighbourhood to replace the watermain along South Sheridan Way. This work is required to maintain and improve existing water services.

South Sheridan Way will be reopened today, Friday, December 20, 2024, from Calgary Court to Tridom Court. During the holiday break, you may see crews in the area while we flush the watermain, but this won’t require any traffic impacts or water disruptions.

Remaining construction work

We expect to start work again in January 2025 to complete the following:

• Connecting properties to the new watermain by replacing individual water service pipes/boxes on South Sheridan Way.
• Replacing temporary asphalt and completing final restoration to driveways, the road, curbs, sidewalks, and sod (grass) that were impacted by the watermain replacement work.

Traffic impacts

• To complete this final restoration work, South Sheridan Way will be reduced to a single shared lane between Calgary Court and Tridom Court periodically during the work at certain locations. Traffic flow will be maintained with flag persons. These lane reductions are expected to start the week of January 13, 2025, and end at the end of February 2025.
• Please expect delays and choose alternate routes if possible.
