Streets affected: Dixie Road, north of Mayfield Road

Construction details

Hydro One will be completing relocation of their infrastructure to accommodate the future Dixie Road Widening project from Countryside Drive to 1.5 km North of Mayfield Road.

Construction schedule

Start: August 6, 2025 - Finish: September 2025, weather permitting.

Working hours

• Normal day working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, Monday to Friday. The Contractor will utilize this time to complete the works.
• The Contractor is also permitted to work on Saturdays, if they choose to, from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

Traffic control

• The works will be phased to minimize traffic disruption while maintain a safe working environment as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Existing traffic flows will be maintained with some restrictions during construction. However, due to the nature of the work, we will need to reduce traffic lanes to one lane for both directions guide by temporary traffic signal and flaggers.
• Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
• Please use caution when travelling through the work zone.
