Working Hours
Rafat General Contracting Inc. has been contracted to complete the work on Peel Region’s behalf.
Hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday. Occasionally, there may be weekend work to meet the project timelines.
These hours follow the municipal by-laws. We recognize that extended working hours may cause some inconvenience to the public; however, this will help to facilitate the completion of the project.
Traffic Control
The project will be phased to minimize traffic disruption while maintaining a safe working environment as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Existing traffic flows (2 lanes) will be maintained during construction. However, due to the nature of the work, there will be instances of temporary slowdowns. As such, residents should expect delays.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times. Please use caution when travelling through the work zone.
Driveway Access
We will do our best to maintain driveway access. If a temporary blockage is necessary, we will contact property owners directly to coordinate the work.
We will ensure businesses have access at all times.
