Street affected: 15705 McLaughlin Road.

The Region of Peel will begin working in your neighbourhood this summer to upgrade the Inglewood Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 15705 McLaughlin Road. These upgrades are required to maintain and improve existing wastewater services.

Schedule for construction work

Construction is anticipated to start summer of 2022 and is expected to take 2 years to complete. This work will be under warranty for two years from the completion date.

Contractor and working hours

The work will be completed by ASCO Construction Ltd. and supported by CIMA Canada Inc., both under contract to the Region of Peel. This contractor’s normal working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. These hours are consistent with the local municipality’s bylaws. We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but shorter or fewer working days would require your neighbourhood to be under construction for a longer period of time.

Location of work

All construction work will take place at the treatment plant, away from McLaughlin Road. The construction areas will be fenced off from the public.

Traffic impacts

Residents of Inglewood should expect to see a small increase in truck traffic on McLaughlin Road. Pedestrians and cyclists on the Caledon Trailway Path should be aware of trucks and heavy machinery crossing the path.
