Notice of public open house – February 25, 2026
Background
Peel Region is undertaking a complete corridor study to improve Erin Mills Parkway between Britannia Road and Highway 407 (Figure 1) within the City of Mississauga and City of Brampton. The objective is to transform this key goods-movement corridor into a “Complete Corridor” that prioritizes safety and promotes efficient movement, while integrating all modes of transportation including walking, cycling, transit, auto, goods movement, and maintaining a state of good repair through infrastructure renewal.
The Study has established existing conditions and considered the potential impacts of the identified alternatives.
Process
The Project is exempt from the Environmental Assessment (EA) Act (Municipal Class Environmental Assessment, 2023) process, since it involves the construction or removal of sidewalks, multi-use paths, or cycling facilities within existing or protected rights-of-way.

We invite you to join us for a Public Open House where we will present the recommended alternatives and provide opportunities to ask questions and give feedback. All materials will be posted online.
