Project 24-1370 A - December 15, 2025 update
Streets affected: Vaughan Drive, Heather Street, Terry Street and Kentbridge Court
Project update
Peel Region has been replacing the watermain along Vaughan Drive, Heather Street, Terry Street, and Kentbridge Court. This work is required to keep providing you with high-quality water.
At this time, we have:
- Replaced the watermain on Vaughan Drive, Heather Street, Terry Street, and Kentbridge Court,
- Connected properties to the new watermain on Vaughan Drive, Heather Street, Terry Street, and Kentbridge Court,
- Temporarily repaired driveways, road, curbs, sidewalk and sod (grass) affected by construction.
The remaining work has been put on hold due to the weather. We’ll shut down for the winter and clean up on December 19, 2025. We will leave the construction site in a safe condition for the rest of the winter.
Schedule for remaining repair work
We expect to start again in April 2026 to complete the following:
- Complete repairing driveways, road, curbs, sidewalk and sod (grass) affected by our construction. This includes replacing the temporary asphalt on driveways, curbs, sidewalks, and roads to complete final restoration.
We plan to finish in spring 2026. More details about restoration will be shared in a follow-up notice
What to expect during construction
Refer to our short video to learn what to expect before, during, and after watermain construction. The video also answers common questions about:
- Why your water may be temporarily shut off.
- How traffic, parking, and waste collection may be affected.
- How driveways, roads, and sod (grass) are repaired.
Settlement of the ground
It is normal for repaired areas to settle. Let us know if you notice large potholes forming where the driveway, street, or lawn was repaired and we’ll ensure these are fixed.
