Project 15-2241 – October 21, 2025 update
Streets affected: Burnhamthorpe Road East and Robert Speck Parkway
Peel Region has been replacing a watermain at the northwest corner of Burnhamthorpe Road East and Robert Speck Parkway.
Under the City of Mississauga Noise Bylaw, work is allowed to take place overnight between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to reduce the impact of our work.
Schedule
This work is expected to take place from Friday, October 24, 8:00 p.m. until Saturday, October 25, 6:00 a.m. Additional nights may be required due to weather and other unexpected events.
Noise
We do not expect significant noise or vibrations above normal daytime construction levels during this time. Efforts will be made to reduce impacts on residents.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes.
