Uploading documents for your online application
You will need to upload your 2023 Notice of Assessment or Canada Child Benefit Notice after you submit your child care subsidy application.
You can either upload your documents when completing your online application or within 14 days of completing your application.
The following information will help you upload your documents.
Step 1: After you finish your application and select the ‘submit’ button you can then select ‘upload files’ to add your 2022 Notice of Assessment or Canada Child Benefit Notice.
Step 2: You will need to upload the documents as a PDF or JPEG file. Microsoft Word and Excel documents are not accepted.
To add your files, use the ‘select files’ button.
Step 3: Navigate to the location of the file, choose your file, and then select ‘open’.
Step 4: If you upload the wrong document while document status is still ‘Pending’, you can delete the wrong document and replace it with the correct one by using the ‘X’.
You will be asked if you’re sure you want to delete this file.
Step 5: Sign into your account to check the file status. If the status is:
- Pending – your document has not yet been processed.
- Accepted – your document was added to your file.
- Declined – your document was not added to your file.
Tip: If you can’t upload documents in the account anymore, your application was moved into the child care subsidy management technology for review.
Step 1: Sign into your Children’s Services account by selecting ‘Sign in’.
Step 2: Select ‘Child Care Fee Subsidy document upload’ on the first screen.
Step 3: Follow Step 2 to Step 5 in the ‘Uploading documents as part of your online application’ instructions.
Step 1: To sign out, select the person icon. And then select ‘Sign out’ from the menu.
