Stagnant water
Water that collects and stays for 7 days or longer is stagnant. Stagnant water can create breeding conditions for mosquitoes. Between June and October, you can report stagnant water to Peel Public Health.
Peel Public Health or your local municipal by-law staff will investigate stagnant water reports.

What you need
- Contact information for the person reporting the standing water.
- Location of the standing water.
- Details about the site (private or public property).
Fees
There is no fee to report stagnant water.
How to report
You can report stagnant water between June 1 and October 1. Reporting isn't necessary during other times of the year.
