Dental screening clinics
Peel Public Health has reopened some dental screening clinics in the community after the COVID-19 response.
Good oral health is important to a child’s overall health. Untreated tooth decay may lead to pain and infection which may result in difficulty eating, speaking, and learning.
A dental screening is a quick assessment by a registered dental hygienist who will look inside the child's mouth. A dental screening identifies children who may need dental care. This does not replace a regular dental visit.
