Seasonal operating hours begin at three Community Recycling Centres

BRAMPTON, ON (April 22, 2024) – Starting in May, Peel Region starts additional seasonal hours at three Community Recycling Centre (CRC) locations:

Brampton Community Recycling Centre

Regular Hours: Monday - Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Additional Operating Hours:

  • Summer: Monday - Wednesday, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., May to August
  • Fall: Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., September to October

Heart Lake Community Recycling Centre

Regular Hours: Monday - Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Additional Operating Hours:

  • Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., May to October

Battleford Community Recycling Centre

Regular Hours: Monday – Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Additional Operating Hours:

  • Summer: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., May to August
  • Fall: Monday – Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., September to October

Hours of operation remain unchanged at the Fewster, Caledon and Bolton CRCs.

Residents can check the waste sorter to find out if a specific item is accepted at a CRC and how to prepare items for safe disposal.
