Peel Public Health vaccine clinics
October 19, 2026
Peel Public Health is encouraging residents to get vaccinated against influenza (flu), COVID-19 and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) to help stay healthy and reduce the risk of serious illness this respiratory season.
Beginning Wednesday, October 21, some people in high-risk and priority groups can book vaccine appointments at a Peel Public Health clinic. Vaccines for all residents 6 months and older will be available on Monday, October 26. Both clinics are located in Mississauga at 7120 Hurontario Street.
Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to protect against serious illness. Flu, COVID-19 and RSV vaccines are safe, help lower the risk of infection, and make illness less severe. Getting vaccinated helps protect everyone, including older adults, young children, pregnant individuals and others at higher risk for severe illness.
Peel Public Health clinics offer a convenient option for residents to get vaccinated. Eligible residents can book an appointment online or call 905-799-7700 (toll-free 1-888-919-7800). They can also receive flu and COVID-19 vaccines through participating family doctors, walk-in clinics, participating pharmacies and some community health centres.
All respiratory season vaccines are free for individuals who live or go to school in Ontario. Residents can be vaccinated even without an Ontario health card.
Layers of protection for respiratory illnesses
In addition to keeping vaccinations updated, there are simple actions residents can take to protect themselves and limit the spread of respiratory viruses this season:
- Stay home when sick.
- Clean your hands often with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow, not your hand.

As the weather gets colder and we move indoors, respiratory viruses can spread more easily. Peel residents can protect themselves and their families by getting vaccinated and practising public health measures like washing their hands often, covering coughs and sneezes, and staying home when sick. We can all help to limit the spread of respiratory illness this season, leaving us more time to enjoy all that this time of year has to offer.
