PAMA Celebrates Youth Week, Mother’s Day, and Museum Month this May

BRAMPTON, ON (April 30, 2025) – The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) is thrilled to kick off a series of events and workshops in celebration of Youth Week, Mother’s Day, and Museum Month this May!

Great Mother’s Day Opportunities

• Paper Quilling Workshop

  Saturday, May 3, 2 - 4 p.m.
  Registration required. 
  $26 + HST (General), $22.10 + HST (PAMA Members).

• Argentinian Folk Music with El Ceibo

  Thursday, May 8, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  Registration is recommended, as space is limited.
  $14.50 + HST (General), $12.33 + HST (PAMA Members).

• Tea Tasting Experience

  Saturday, May 10, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
  Registration required. 
  $40.75 + HST (General), $34.60 + HST (PAMA Members).

Youth Week Events

• Open-Mic event with Speak Your Truth

  Thursday, May 22, 6:30 – 9 p.m.
  Pay-what-you-can admission, no registration required.  

• The PAMA Youth Council Presents: Roots and Wings - A Youth Art Showcase

  Saturday, May 24, 12 – 4 p.m.
  Pay-what-you-can admission, no registration required.  

Celebrate Museum Month

• Timeless Toys (Families)

  Sundays, May 4 and 18, 2 – 3:30 p.m.
  Designed for ages 5 to 12. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Any parent or guardian who wishes to create their own toy must also register as supplies are limited. 
  Registration: $12.50 + HST (General), $10.63 + HST (PAMA Members). 

• Annual MOYO event in support of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia in partnership with PAMA

  Thursday, May 15, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  This program will take place at PAMA with free event admission. 
  Registration is required with MOYO Health Services.

• PAMA Spring Reception

  Friday, May 23, 7 – 9 p.m.

• Turkish Paper Marbling Workshop 
  Sunday, May 25, 1:30 - 3 p.m.
