BRAMPTON, ON (June 18, 2025) – This July, enjoy a lively lineup of affordable, hands-on activities and exciting adventures at Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) for the whole family.

What’s on for families

Summer Fun Studio Time

Tuesdays and Thursdays all summer long!

• July 3: Sand Art

  Create your own vibrant masterpiece with colourful sand, as we bring the fun of the beach to you!

• July 15 and 17: Paper Kite Making

  Design your own colourful kite and let your imagination soar high in the beautiful sky.

• July 22 and 24: Colourful Suncatchers

  Design a radiant suncatcher and brighten up your home with a splash of colour and light.

• July 29 and 31: Tie-Dye Art

  Unleash your creativity with tie-dye inspired art and watch your colours swirl into a vibrant creation

Recommended for ages 5 and up. Guardians must accompany children. These drop-ins are included in general admission and free for members.

• Spin, Pop, Boom Show by Mad Science

  Thursday, July 10, 1:30 – 2:15 p.m.
  Explore the sounds and spectacle of chemistry and physics.

• Children’s Drumming Session

  Thursday, July 24, 1 and 2:30 p.m. (55-minute sessions)
  Join DrumIN and facilitator Sam Liu and express yourself through rhythm and let your imagination flow though the beat of a drum.

Public: $11+ HST/person, members: free (includes general admission). Registration is required.

Family workshop

• Paper-Making Workshop (two sessions)

  Saturday, July 19, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 - 4 p.m.

  Join PAMA for a hands-on paper-making workshop that brings new life to old paper! Explore the creative process of transforming recycled materials into beautiful, one-of-a-kind handmade cards.

Public: $14/person + HST, members: $11.90/person + HST.
Designed for all ages, registration is required. Children must be accompanied by parent/guardian who must also register to participate.

• Hand Built Pottery Workshop

  Thursday, July 31, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

New exhibitions

Land, Sea, Sky: Inuit Art from PAMA’s Collection 
July 26 – March 29, 2026

This exhibition showcases Inuit prints, sculptures, drawings, and traditional dolls. Each piece reflects the deep relationship Inuit artists have with their environment and connects visitors to the varied cultures that have thrived in the Arctic for generations.
