Finding services on Peel Region’s website just got easier with a new virtual assistant
BRAMPTON, ON (Aug. 31, 2026) – Peel Region has launched its virtual assistant on peelregion.ca to help website visitors find information about Peel’s programs and services and guide them through their service needs.

Designed to act as a digital helper to both customers and employees, the virtual assistant:
- Is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in more than 30 languages, including French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, Catalan, and Chinese.
- Can help website visitors create a new My Account to access Peel Region online services such as affordable transit program, Peel Living services and paying their water bill.
The virtual assistant meets rigorous security controls and responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) practices. Personal information of virtual assistant users is protected throughout each interaction, reinforcing Peel Region’s commitment to accessible, trusted, and innovative public service delivery.
The Virtual Assistant is one of the initiatives under the Service Excellence pillar of Peel Region’s Strategic Agenda 2024-27 and is an example how Peel Region continues to enhance resident digital services by using the potential of AI in a responsible way.
We continue implementing modern technology solutions to make access to Peel Region’s programs and services for residents and business faster and more efficient. This innovative tool is a significant milestone in Peel Region’s digital transformation journey which will improve the overall digital service experience with Peel.
