Discover Peel's Community Recycling Centres and turn your clutter into calm

Body

BRAMPTON, Ont. - August 12, 2025. Looking to declutter your home and do something good for the planet at the same time? Peel Region is encouraging residents to take advantage of Community Recycling Centres (CRCs), a convenient and environmentally friendly way to dispose of and donate unwanted items.

Peel Region has launched a promotional campaign to showcase CRCs. The campaign was launched to make sure the community is aware of services offered at the CRCs as a helpful and environmentally friendly alternative.

CRCs offer residents an easy way to drop off a wide range of items including recyclable materials, household hazardous waste, reusable goods, and garbage. You can also donate gently used clothing, toys, and books. Many items can be dropped off for free.

Whether you are clearing out the garage, decluttering your wardrobe, or finally dropping off those donation bags gathering dust in the basement, your local CRC is ready to help.

Community Recycling Centres offer a simple and sustainable way for residents to keep their homes clean and organized while ensuring waste is handled responsibly. Our goal is to divert 75% of waste from landfill, and CRCs play a vital role in achieving this by providing residents convenient options to recycle, donate, and safely dispose of their materials.
