Jazz and Paint Night at PAMA – World of Jazz Festival
September 5, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Put sound on canvas. Be inspired by the smooth and soulful rhythm of live jazz music as you create your own unique and colourful abstract painting during this lively art experience. This event is part of the 2025 World of Jazz Festival organized by B-Jazzed.
Registration required. $20 + HST General; $17 + HST PAMA Member.
Indigo Dye Workshop
September 13, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Join artist Chamila Belleth for a hands-on workshop where you’ll discover the natural beauty of indigo dyeing. Learn traditional techniques and create your own unique, hand-dyed scarf to take home.

Free Culture Days Downtown Art Crawl
September 19, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Join PAMA and downtown businesses for a vibrant Friday evening celebrating the arts! Enjoy artist talks, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities throughout downtown Brampton as we kick off Culture Days. Free admission.
Upcycled Jewelry Workshop with Navern Nash-Longshaw
September 20, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Combine creativity, sustainability and style in this hands-on workshop led by Brampton-based entrepreneur and fashion designer Navern Nash-longshaw. Using repurposed materials, including recycled textiles, you’ll craft your own wearable art pieces, such as one-of-a-kind earrings or a stylish necklace. No experience necessary - just bring your imagination!
Have something special in mind? While all materials are provided, participants are welcome to bring unique items from home to personalize their creation.

Doors Open Brampton - Step into the Past at PAMA
September 21, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Enjoy a deep dive into the past at PAMA! Discover the history of the 1867 Peel County Jail, as you step into repurposed cell blocks now used as exhibition spaces. Get hands-on at our special activity stations, take part in historical activities, and visit the Archives to uncover documents, photographs and resources highlighting the history of Brampton and Peel. Free admission.
Pixel to Print: Personalized Tote Bag - Free Culture Days Workshop
September 25, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Show off your creativity! Join Brampton Library and PAMA to design your own digital character and transfer it onto a tote bag using Brampton Library's Makerspace equipment. Free admission.
Registration required. Recommended for ages 14+.
Forest Bathing with Sock Gee Gan
September 27, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Discover a practice that brings people closer to nature and supports healing and wellness through natural environments. Forest therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to "forest bathing." Experience the benefits of slow-paced wandering in nature with a trained forest therapy guide on this guided journey. Rejuvenate through mindful and sensory awareness and deepen your relationship with nature.

Haiku Workshop with Anna Yin
September 27, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Express nature’s beauty through the written word during this haiku workshop led by poet Anna Yin. This introductory session will explore how to craft a haiku, using concise wording to express the wonder, peace, hope and other feelings nature inspires.
Registration Required: $18 + HST General; $15.30 PAMA Member.
