What’s on for families

Summer Fun Studio Time

Tuesdays and Thursdays all summer long!

Recommended for ages 5 and up. Guardians must accompany children. These drop-ins are included in general admission and free for members.

  • Bubbleology Show

    Thursday, Aug. 7, 1:30 - 2:15 p.m.
    Miss T the Bubble Queen is back with mind-blowing bubble magic! See bubble cubes, swirling bubble tornadoes-even someone inside a giant bubble.

  • Pirate Workshop with Pirate Life Theatre

    Thursday, Aug. 21, 1-hour workshops at 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
    Ahoy mateys! Join a high-seas adventure led by a swashbuckling pirate from Pirate Life children's theatre company. Discover the life of a young buccaneer through stories, games and activities that will spark creativity and fire up the imagination of every young scallywag.

Public: $11+ HST/person, members: free (includes general admission). Registration is required.

What's on for adults

  • Summer Art Workshop Series: Watercolour Landscape
    Thursday, Aug. 14, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

    Connect with nature in a watercolour painting session led by Brampton artist Angelica Candido. Get inspired by her vivid works exploring life, dreams, and humanity and create your own colourful landscape. Then, explore Jude Griebel: Illuminated Collapse, an exhibition of miniature sculptures reflecting on our impact on the planet.

Public: $18/person + HST, members: $15.30/person + HST. Registration is required.

Remember | Resist | Redraw: A Radical History Poster Project
Opening August 23

This collaborative project from the Graphic History Collective offers alternative perspectives on well-known historical events in what is today known as Canada. Artists and writers highlight histories that are often overlooked or marginalized in mainstream historical accounts.
