    Holiday hours

    Peel Region offices and non-emergency services will be closed for Good Friday on Friday, April 18, 2025 and will reopen Monday, April 21, 2025.

    These services are closed on public holidays:

    • The Family Health Call Centre

    • The Needle Exchange Program and Harm Reduction Mobile Van

    ServiceOntario counter at 10 Peel Centre Drive will be closed Friday, April 18, 2025 and will reopen on Monday, April 21, 2025

    Routine school immunization clinics will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025. Clinics will resume regular hours of operations on Monday, April 21, 2025. Visit here to book your appointment.

    The Family Health Call Centre will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025 and will reopen on Monday, April 21, 2025.

    The Fairview Healthy Sexuality Clinic, the Meadowvale Healthy Sexuality Clinic, and the Brampton Healthy Sexuality Clinic will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025. The Fairview and Brampton Healthy Sexuality clinics will reopen on Monday, April 21, 2025, and the Meadowvale Healthy Sexuality Clinic will reopen on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

    Peel Works Harm Reduction mobile vans will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025, and return to regular operating hours on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

    The Dental Services Contact Centre and Dental Clinics will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025, and will reopen on Monday, April 21, 2025.

    There will be no change to your waste collection schedule due to Good Friday. Check your collection calendar to find your pickup day or sign up to receive free waste collection reminders.

    All Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) will be closed on Friday, April 18, Sunday, April 20, and Monday, April 21. CRCs will be open on Saturday, April 19, and will resume regular operations on Tuesday, April 22.

    Early Years and Child Care Services will be closed on Friday, April 18, for Good Friday and will reopen on Monday, April 21. Child Care Subsidy will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday and will reopen on Tuesday, April 22.

    Housing Services, Client Services will be closed on Friday, April 18 (Good Friday) and Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday) and will reopen on Tuesday, April 22.

    For urgent homelessness supports, including food, supplies, referrals, and shelter, call the Street Helpline 24/7 at 1-877-848-8481. For information on emergency shelter, visit the emergency shelter webpage or call 905-450-1996.

    Ontario Works offices will be closed on Friday, April 18 (Good Friday) and Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday) and will reopen on Tuesday, April 22.

    For emergency Peel Living maintenance requests, call the 24-hour request line at 905-790-7335.

    All trips for Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, must be booked by 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 17.

    On Friday, April 18 (Good Friday):

    • Call us at 905-791-1015 if you need to cancel your trip.
    • Flexible (same-day) trips will not be provided.
    • TransHelp will operate from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.
    • The TransHelp office will be closed and unable to process applications, payments, or feedback.
    • Subscription trips will be cancelled, except for dialysis trips

    We offer bookings up to 7 days in advance. Consider booking your next trip early to ensure your holiday travel.

    PAMA will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025. We welcome visitors to explore our historic spaces on Monday, April 21, for a family fun activity to celebrate Spring. Admission will be complimentary throughout April, courtesy of the Sikh Foundation of Canada. .
