Project update
As part of the Flow | Central Brampton Program, Peel Region is planning to replace the watermain along Baker Road and Colony Court.
Due to unexpected events, construction has been postponed. The contractor will be removing construction equipment and materials from the travelled portion of the road.
Construction timelines
Weather permitting construction is expected to start again mid-February 2026.
Important note
Once started, construction will take place in the municipal right-of-way. This includes the street and the municipal-owned land between the street and the water service box, a small, round, metal valve located outside on the property line between your home or business and the road. This work may impact the bottom of your driveway and the area around the sidewalk. We recommend that you delay major landscaping or driveway paving until construction is completed.
