Project update
Peel Region has been replacing water service along various streets in Caledon and Brampton. This work is required to keep providing you with high-quality water services.
Construction schedule
Construction started early March 2026. This work is being completed one street at a time. Once the underground work is completed on all streets in each city/town, we’ll begin repairing impacted driveways, boulevards, sod (grass), roads, curbs, and sidewalks. We expect construction and repair work to be finished by July 31, 2026. This date may change due to weather and other unexpected events. All work is warrantied for two years from the completion date.
Contractor working hours
The work will be completed by Rymall Construction Inc. under contract to Peel Region. Working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. These hours are consistent with local municipal bylaws and help shorten the amount of time construction is in your neighborhood.
