Project 25-1163 – March 31, 2026 update
Street affected: Centreville Creek Road
Project update
As part of the Flow | South Caledon Program, Peel Region will start installing a new watermain along Centreville Creek Road (Mayfield Road to 1500m south of Healey Road). This work is essential to ensuring we continue delivering high‑quality water services to the community.
At this stage, an extended temporary road closure will be required to safely complete this work.
Traffic impacts
- Centreville Creek Road will be closed to all through traffic from Mayfield Road to 1500m south of Healey Road. This temporary road closure will take place from Spring 2026 and finish in the end of 2026.
- Local access to homes and businesses will be maintained. No through traffic and on-street parking will be allowed.
- The onsite contractor will guide emergency service vehicles and school buses through the closure.
- Postal delivery and municipal garbage collection will continue as usual.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Learn more about how to stay safe in construction zones.
