Streets affected: Clarkway Drive, Humber Station Road and Healey Road
Temporary road closure
Peel Region has been installing new watermain and sanitary sewer along Healey Road and Humber Station Road.
A temporary road closure on Humber Station Road from Healey Road to Mayfield Road will be required to complete this work.
Traffic impacts
Humber Station Road Closure
Until May 12, 2025 access to Humber Station Road from Healey Road has been limited to emergency services, garbage collection, school boards and local traffic only. Access will be controlled by police officers or flag persons, and only permitted for those specific purposes.
Starting Monday, May 12, 2025, through to Spring 2026, Humber Station Road will be closed to all through traffic between Healey Road and Mayfield Road. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained from Mayfield Road only.
- No through traffic or on-street parking will be permitted.
- A clearly marked detour route will be in place.
- Please expect delays and use alternate routes where possible.
Healey Road Closure
Healey Road will be closed to all through traffic between Coleraine Drive and Humber Station Road beginning June 2, 2025 until Spring 2026.
- Access to homes and businesses will be maintained from Coleraine Drive only.
- No through traffic or on-street parking will be allowed during this period.
- A clearly marked detour route will be in place.
- Please expect delays and consider using alternate routes.
Waste Collection
If you receive Peel waste collection, your garbage, recycling, and organics will be picked up on Wednesdays, beginning the week of May 12, 2025. It’s the contractor’s responsibility to move these bins from the end of your driveway to a location where waste collection vehicles can pick them up. Please make sure your house number is marked on each bin, so they are returned to the right address.
