Project 22-2300 A2 and 20-2300 N – June 16, 2026 update
Streets affected: Cathedral Road, Bartley Bull Parkway and Staveley Crescent
Road paving
As part of the Flow | Central Brampton Program, Peel Region will be repairing the road where it was affected by our recent watermain and sanitary sewer construction. Thank you for your cooperation while we finish this work.
Schedule
We expect road paving activities to take place on the following dates:
- Staveley Crescent, Asphalt removal June 22, 2026. We expect the first phase of paving (base paving) to take place on June 23, 2026, and the second phase (top asphalt) on June 26,2026.
- Cathedral Road, Asphalt removal June 23, 2026. We expect the first phase of paving (base paving) to take place on June 24, 2026, and the second phase (top asphalt) on June 29, 2026.
- Bartley Bull Parkway, Asphalt removal June 24, 2026. We expect the first phase of paving (base paving) to take place on June 25, 2026, and the second phase (top asphalt) on June 30, 2026.
Working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Road paving may be delayed due to weather conditions, as it cannot take place when the ground is saturated with water, or the temperature is below 3°C.
Repairing driveways
Interlock or concrete driveways: If we damage a portion of your driveway, our contractor will repair the damaged portion.
Asphalt driveways: If we need to cut a section of your driveway, it will be repaired by paving a strip over the impacted area, resulting in minimal seams. Peel cannot replace your entire driveway. If you would like to have the rest of your driveway paved, please contact the contractor, Nabolsy Contracting Inc. at 647-960-1905. The contractor will then share contact information for the company hired to do the paving repairs. Please remember this is your choice. If you decide to have your entire driveway repaved, this extra paving work is your responsibility and outside Peel Region jurisdiction.
Driveway access and parking
Please do not park on the street (or leave any materials) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. when paving is scheduled for your street.
While your street is being paved, we may block your driveway for a short time. As paving work approaches your home, we recommended parking on another street.
We have arranged for alternate parking on Staveley Crescent, Cathedral Road and Derwent Avenue with the City of Brampton until June 30, 2026. All other parking laws remain in place, including proper clearance from hydrants and stop signs.
Traffic impacts
We may need to reduce traffic to a single lane during paving activities. Work will be phased to minimize traffic disruption. If this is needed, we will place signs giving directions.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Learn more about how to stay safe in construction zones.
