Street affected: Wesley Avenue at Lakeshore Road West
Construction work in your area
Peel Region will be installing a new watermain and large sanitary sewer along Lakeshore Road between Jack Darling Memorial Park and Elmwood Avenue, and a new sanitary sewer on Wesley Avenue from Park Street to Lakeshore Road West. We will also be replacing a section of watermain between Ibar Way and Shawnmarr Road. For more information on the project, visit our project webpage.
Updated schedule
Wesley Avenue, at Lakeshore Road, has been temporarily reopened. This is due to changes in schedule from unforeseen utility impacts.
At a later date, a working compound (construction site) will be required at the intersection of Wesley Avenue and Lakeshore Road West to support the tunnelling and installation of the new large sanitary sewer.
Another project update will be sent out to the affected neighborhoods before the road is closed again and the construction site is put back in the intersection as planned.
