Project 18-1357 – November 10, 2025 update Queen Street (north side)
Streets affected: Queen Street West (north side) between Park Street and Mercer Drive
Road paving and blocked driveway access
As part of the Flow | Central Brampton Program, Peel Region will be repairing the road where it was affected by our recent watermain construction. Thank you for your cooperation while we finish this work.
Schedule
Road paving activities have started on Queen Street West. We will be paving the north side of Queen Street West from Park Street to Mercer Drive. We will be paving your driveway on Tuesday, November 18th, until Thursday, November 20th.
Road paving may be delayed due to weather conditions, as it cannot take place when the ground is saturated with water, or the temperature is below 3°C.
Driveway access and parking
While your street is being paved, your driveway will not be accessible from 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18th, until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20th. You and your visitors will need to find alternative parking locations. We have arranged for alternative parking on side streets with the City of Brampton until this work is completed. If you need to use your driveway during these hours or have any special accommodation you require, call the Project Ambassador, Avalon Myers at (416) 457-3889.
Traffic impacts
Work will be phased to minimize traffic disruption. Access to Queen Street West from West Street, McMurchy Avenue North and Haggert Avenue North will be closed during this time. Please follow the posted detour signs.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Learn more about how to stay safe in construction zones.
