Project 18-1357 – January 7, 2026 update
Streets affected: Queen Street West from McLaughlin Road to Park Street
Temporary traffic impacts
As part of the Flow | Central Brampton Program, Peel Region has been installing a new watermain along Queen Street West. This work is required to keep providing you with high-quality water.
Traffic impacts
- Eastbound/Westbound Queen Street West will be reduced to a single lane in each direction from McLaughlin Road to Park Street. These lane reductions will be in place from Wednesday, January 7, 2026, until Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
- Line painting will take place overnight on Monday, January 12, 2026, weather permitting.
Please expect delays and choose alternate routes if possible.
We apologize for any delays or inconvenience resulting from these traffic impacts.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area.
