Streets affected: Queen Street West and McLaughlin Road intersection
Temporary road closure and blocked driveway access
As part of the Flow | Central Brampton Program, Peel Region will be repairing the road where it was affected by our recent watermain construction. Thank you for your cooperation while we finish this work.
Schedule
Road reconstruction, milling and paving activities have commenced on Queen Street West. During this next phase of construction, we will need to temporarily close the intersection of Queen Street West and McLaughlin Road. The intersection will be closed from Friday, July 17th at 8 p.m. to Monday, July 20th at 5 a.m.
These activities may be delayed due to weather. If that occurs, the closure will take place the following weekend, from Friday, July 24th at 8 p.m. to Monday, July 27th at 5 a.m.
Driveway access and parking
While the intersection is being paved, your driveway will not be accessible from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20. During this time, you and your visitors will need to use alternative parking.
We have arranged for temporary parking on nearby side streets with the City of Brampton for the duration of this work. To do so, please complete the City’s Parking Exemption Application online.
You may also park on Queen Street West in front of your home within the construction zone.

Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area.
