Project update
Peel Region has been working in your neighborhood to replace the watermain along Dundas Street East as part of our commitment to maintaining and improving your water service.
Under the City of Mississauga Noise Bylaw, work is allowed to take place overnight to reduce the impact of our work. It will take place on Dundas Street East.
Schedule
This work is expected to take place from Tuesday, February 17, 7:00 a.m. until Wednesday, February 18, 2026, 8:00 a.m. Additional nights may be required due to weather and other unexpected events.
Traffic impacts
This work will require a curb lane closure eastbound on Dundas Street East from just east of Dixie Road to Neilco Court from about 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, to about 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Please expect minor traffic disruptions. We will place signs giving directions.
Noise
We do not expect significant noise or vibrations above normal daytime construction levels during this time. Efforts will be made to reduce impacts to local residents.

Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area.
